Praying, moving, blogging

Man, I have been busy. I'm not sure anyone has missed me blogging. Probably not. I have been so busy getting the parsonage ready and moving I have no opportunity to blog. I don't know what I'm doing. If you know of any blogging educational sites to teach me send it to me at gkinzle@yahoo.com so I can learn more.
My first Sunday as Pastor was 3 months from this coming Sunday. I will be officially installed this Sunday by Tom Jacobs, the Iowa Ministry Network superintendent We've been having fun. I think they are getting used to me. We've been having awesome times in God's presence. Especially when a few of us pray. We have just started 40 days of Prayer with Fasting starting April 1 and going to Pentecost Sunday May 11. We've been praying for an increase in the power and presence of God. We will see it. We've been having awesome times in His presence. Some have never prayed like this before. So awesome. I get to show others how to pray passionately. Really Fun.
We're still praying for the sick weekly. Seen some healings but always wanting more. I will not be satisfied until I see Jesus + some power in ministry.
Contending for more,
Greg

She's a Girl!

Forgive me being personal, what's to forgive it is my blog:-), we had the 20 week ultrasound and found out we are having a girl. We're excited. We went to Gymboree and used a gift card that we had been saving and bought a girly dress. It's fun. The classic thing happened at Gymboree. I was a the cash register and there was a mother and daughter who were the great-grandma and grandma of the girl they were buying a gift for. I was talking to them about buying for their grandkid and she asked if I was buying for my granddaughter. I assume it's because I asked about her granddaughter and not the fact that I look like a grandpa (I am trying to be positive) but it was still hilarious. I know it will happen more as we are approaching retirement age and this girl will be in her early 20's. Funny how things work out.
I'm believing God that this child will be a prophetic statement in our life of a new fruitfulness in a lot of areas. I'm believing God for a new level of anointing, reproduction, and power in our family and ministry. God loves to use the birth of children to speak things to us. This has been the easiest pregnancy we have ever had. So easy, that sometimes we have had to remind ourselves that Tess is pregnant. None of the usual bedrest, wondering, etc that we usually have in pregnancy. Just like our new ministry has been. We have seen healings and other blessings come easily without striving. Exciting! Awesome experience and I am thankful!

God's continues to heal

It's been a while since I posted. I'm not a very regular blogger. Lots to share so I'll summarize. We've had some healings. Some children have been touched. A 5 year old girl had spots all over from an infection and was supposed to last 6-8 weeks. We prayed and the spots didn't leave immediately. 2 days later at the dr no spots! Vince who attends the church had hurt his ankle at work. We prayed for him laid hands on him and it got warm, then he could bear wieght on it! Cool to see God move. There is some I am skipping. Why is healing so important? God hates sickness and He gives us what we need to do something about it.
Matthew 4: 23Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. 25Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis,[f] Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him
That's what Jesus did and He calls and equips us to do the same. If this was widespread in the church can you imagine? Ask the Holy Spirit to let you dream about that and then let's contend together toward that end. Until next time...

2 people healed Sunday!

Hey bloggees! God healed two people at church this last Sunday. Mark had problems with asthma the at was making it hard to breathe. We prayed and released healing and he could breathe well then. Still breathing good on Wednesday. Another lady had a neck brace on and her neck was really sore. We prayed and released healing and she was better.
We're just breaking into this as a church but I will take all I can get. We're going for more of God's manifest power.
Be encouraged God wants to release His power throughout His body.

Let's Encounter God!

Hey! I'm excited about this Blog! I hope it is a place to encourage us to encounter God on a regular basis. I'll probably discuss less important stuff also. It's a place for friends from church and elsewhere to see what's in this simple head of mine. I'll also share what God is doing in the region. Let me know if you've got good ideas too. I want to know what you're thinking to

Just to intro myself, I'm Greg Kinzle, husband of Tess, Father of Sydnie (10) and Jace (3), and ?(due in July). I'm also the Lead Pastor of Nevada Assembly of God as a few weeks ago. I'm so hungry for God to reveal His glory to a region. God has transformed me over the last few years to be a man of One Passion: His Presence!
